Altitude café is located in the Gillies Roadhouse on the corner of the Gillies Highway and Lake Barrine Road in beautiful Yungaburra, Queensland. The perfect introduction of what the Tablelands has to offer. Homemade food with local produce and excellent specialty coffee makes Altitude a must stop place one your visit to Yungaburra and the Atherton Tablelands.

Altitude provides an ambient atmosphere inside and also offers amazing views over the horizon outside. Perfect for some alone relaxation time or to meet friends over a meal.

Owned and run by a small Family with a big Passion for food and drink. Matthew and Kristina also share a common passion for the beautiful Tablelands and everything it has to offer.

Offering a new Menu with fresh local produce, they provide tasty meals that fill you up and satisfy the senses.

Drinks are high on the agenda too, in particular the coffee. Matthew has been working hard to achieve consistency with great tasting coffee across the board. Networking, researching and trialing with other coffee gurus (coffee professionals across Australia) learning the best tips to carve our own way, offering you amazing coffee every time you visit. We provide options with different milks and are always keen to try something new.

We offer our local tea growers “Nerada” options of tea believing that local is as fresh as you get. They have a great range of flavoured, green and black teas.

On Tap, we offer Kombucha that’s locally crafted and tastes AMAZING. We have an exclusive Rainforest flavour and litre bottle refills are available. Also on tap is our range of Nitro coldbrews which Matthew carefully selects in conjunction with seasons and flavour to offer the best possible options, keeping the blends new and exciting.

Along with the Breakfast and Lunch menu there are also a range of pastries and sweets made at Altitude to choose from in the cabinet. Ever changing, this offers seasonal and special dietary options. Gluten free, Vegetarian and Vegan are always in mind. The cabinet has great takeaway options to help those with busy work days for lunch throughout the week. We always have a variety of fresh salads to tantalise the senses.
