The village of

Yungaburra

The village of Yungaburra is surrounded by countryside which has been influenced and shaped by many, now extinct, volcanoes. The landscape is stunning, with outstandingly beautiful natural attractions: crater lakes, waterfalls and World Heritage rain forest. This tranquil and picturesque village is situated 720 metres (2400 feet) above sea level. This ideal holiday destination is cooler than the coastal area during summer, and in winter the mild days and refreshing nights are an excuse to enjoy a crackling log fire.
